ONCE A WORLD CLASS CITY, Mumbai is near the bottom today on most measures, as a place to live, work and invest in. The city must regain its economic strength. It must offer a good quality of life. Its governance must be open, responsive and clean. Only then will we attract the people and minds that we need to become globally competitive and a great city once more.

MLAs must lead the revival of Mumbai. Therefore all candidates should hold fast to a high personal code and an MLAs' programme of dynamic action.
